Details
Enter all the details you know about the Client. Some of the fields auto-format as you leave them (such as the postcode to uppercase), others autofill details where there was no value before (such as the City, State, Country and Region when a UK postcode is entered). The web site is auto-determined from the email address if the web site was blank at the time. The Client ID is pre-determined for you and cannot be changed. The Full Name is comprised of the Salutation, Name, Initial and Surname and cannot be edited separately.
The State and Region are set by the user and can be whatever details you want by changing the Edit Group details option on the main CRMHaven window. The Salutation and Country pop-ups are fixed and cannot be edited.
Every time the Client is updated the Modified date reflects the date and time the latest changes were made.

Click in the middle of the Photo field to get a file selection dialog. Choose a Client JPEG photo of 100 x 100 pixels in size. If you choose a different size photo it will scale the photo to that size.

Notes
The Notes tab is to hold free flow text describing the Client, text from emails or comments. The text does not support style changes and can be cut and pasted into other documents.

Custom Fields
The Custom fields give you the option to add fields to your Client data that are custom to your needs. These fields can hold any information you want from surveys to data, numbers, text or dates. They can be single line answers or multi-line comments. The types of information held in the Custom fields is set in the Edit Group details window. The first two lines set the column headings and the subsequent lines set the field headers.
As your click through the headings the associated text appears both on the right hand column and in the edit field below. As you change the text in the edit field below it will add the text to the custom value.
It is important to choose your custom fields properly since you cannot change the order of the fields later.

InLine editing
It is possible to view and edit multiple custom fields at once in the main CRMHaven window.

LCRMHavenLimitCustomFields

Click the Limit tab. Set the In Group to the group you want to edit. Set Edit to Custom Fields. Now you are ready to edit the custom fields in the main window! Editing this way eliminates your ability to add carriage returns (multiple lines) to your custom field.

Exporting
It is possible to export the custom fields using the Export Clients option.

Note that custom fields cannot contain tab characters as these are reserved as field delimiters.
