When you need to visit a series of Clients it is useful to view where the Client is geographically and how to get there via a tool like Google Maps.
- Set any Clients you want to have viewed in Google maps as Marked.
- Click the Actions button and choose View Client Addresses on Google Maps.
- Your default browser should appear with a new tab or window for each marked client’s address.
Options
- If Google Maps is unable to locate your client’s geographical address, ensure you have included the client Country in the database.
- If a Client doesn’t have an address then browser pages are opened.
- Sometimes Google Maps will display multiple locations matching the description (see above). In this case choose the correct location in the left column.
- To get navigational directions click the Google Maps button ‘Get directions’.
- If you want to display multiple Client locations on the one map then use the BatchGeoCode feature.
