Linking with Googe maps

View on Google Maps

When you need to visit a series of Clients it is useful to view where the Client is geographically and how to get there via a tool like Google Maps.

  • Set any Clients you want to have viewed in Google maps as Marked.
  • Click the Actions button and choose View Client Addresses on Google Maps.
  • Your default browser should appear with a new tab or window for each marked client’s address.

Options
  • If Google Maps is unable to locate your client’s geographical address, ensure you have included the client Country in the database.
If a Client doesn’t have an address then browser pages are opened.
Sometimes Google Maps will display multiple locations matching the description (see above). In this case choose the correct location in the left column.
To get navigational directions click the Google Maps button ‘Get directions’.
HMS is looking into ways to get multiple Client locations appearing on the one map.
