Navigating DocHaven window
Click the ‘Window’ menu and choose DocHaven (or key Command-D for Macintosh, Control-D for Windows & Linux) — this will bring the Documents window to the front.

Shift, Command and Control keys
Pressing Shift or Command (Control in Windows) lets you select multiple documents or folders.

Arrow keys
Press any of the four arrow keys. The up and down arrow keys will move your selection up and down through the list of projects and documents. The left and right arrows open and close the display of project folders.

Triangles
Click the triangles to open or close the display of a folder.



Double-Click
Double-click a document to launch it. Double-clicking a folder will display the contents of a folder within DocHaven.

Return key
Highlight a folder and press Return — DocHaven should display that open folder in the operating system’s windows. Press the Return key while highlighting a file to launch it.

Right-Clicking
Right-clicking (or control-clicking) any document lets you change a project’s name plus many other functions.

Resize
Drag the re-size button in the bottom right to change the window size.
Drag the window’s top toolbar to reposition the window.
Drag the column borders to resize the columns.
Click the Maximise button to zoom the window full screen.
Click the Minimise button to shrink the window to the Dock.

Close a Window
Choose Close Window from the File menu to close the uppermost window (or type Command-W or press the Escape key)

Quit
Choose Quit (Exit in Windows & Linux) under the File menu to quit the application. You may get an warning to put away existing Projects first. If you choose to do so, it will put your Projects away then quit the application.

Logout
Choose Logout to close all windows and return to the Login screen. This lets you log in as a different user.
