Quotas

Each user account has a list of quotas and settings that control how the application is able to work for them. Keeping in touch with those limits helps us know when we are close to reaching them before we do.

060QuotaDetails

Logged in ID and Logged in Name
The user number and name that you are currently logged in as. This may be useful for people who have multiple accounts with different quotas.

Default User, Group and Client
When new Projects are created, these values will be chosen as the initial values. The Group and Client can be changed anytime after a Project is created, but the Owner (i.e. the User) is set once the Project is created and cannot be changed.

SQL and FTP Status
The application tries to connect to these servers. If the servers reply they display as Available otherwise they will show up as Unavailable. This is no guarantee that your files will transfer, only that the servers are running.

Max Lookups
The number of Projects or Logs that are retrieved may be determined by this value. It can be changed and will remain this value until the next log in when it will revert to the value set on the Window-Database-User settings.

061QuotaTotals

Total Projects
Shows the proportion of your quota for the total number of Projects that you have used up e.g. if you are allowed 100 Projects in total (any number of versions) and you have created 90 Projects then you can only create 10 more new Projects. You may need to store new documents into your existing Projects.

Total Size
Shows the proportion of your quota for the total size of Projects that you have used up e.g. if you have a quota of 1000 megabytes (1 Gigabyte) total space (versions are included in this) and you have used 900 megabytes of total space you may want to limit your file sizes, archive some finished Projects to a CD-ROM or purge some unneeded versions.

Max Project Size
The total size in megabytes that any single Project can be (after compression) when put away. Most files compress well, and transferring large files can be both slow and taxing on a network, so it is good to keep within this limit. If you are close to exceeding your quota then consider creating a new blank Project and moving some of the less frequently used files into this new Project calling it ‘… extras’. This may help keep the size of your main Project down, speed up your transfers, yet give you access to all your files when you need it.

Max Versions
The maximum total number of versions of each Project that will be kept on the cloud. When the total number of server versions reaches this value the versions become a ‘sliding window’ of versions e.g. versions 1-10 become 2-11 then 3-12. The oldest versions are deleted as the newest versions are added. Warning: you must not set the number of versions to less than 1.

Projects
The total number of Projects (and versions) you have in DocHaven.

Clients
The total number of Clients you have in CRMHaven.

Twit Messages
The total number of messages you have in Twithaven.

Cash
The amount of money available for Cashless purchases through the CashHaven system.
