There are more advanced ways to find your Projects. SpotFind is like the Google-search for your Projects by using only one field. Search allows you to define the search to actual specific fields to get a higher level of accuracy. The Limits let us expand or constrict the results.

SpotFind
- Click the SpotFind tab
- Click in the SpotFind text field
- Type the text you want to search for then press Return. All Projects that contain that text somewhere in their main text fields will be displayed.
- Highlight a project in the found list below and click Add to include it in the list of Projects at the top ready to take out.
- SpotFind search in every normal text value including file names, extensions, types, notes etc.

Search
- Click the Search tab
- There are three conditions to find Projects. To activate a normal condition, enter a value into the right hand field.
- Choose a different field to search by clicking the left pop-up.
- Choose a logical relator (e.g. equals, contains, etc) to get a range of values. Some fields require a number, some text, some dates while others are ‘true’ or ‘false’ conditions.
- If any of the three fields is activated this way the search button becomes available. Any fields left blank are ignored.
- Click ‘Search’.
- Highlight one or more projects and click the bottom Add button to include the Projects in the list of current Projects to take out.

Limit
- Click the Limit tab.
- Set the limiting criteria
- Search again under the SpotFind or the Search tabs.
- The results should now reflect the changed limits.
- Note that including deleted, archived, synchronised or taken out Project will now mean that you can take these out since they will give an error warning. Instead it means that you might be able to verify where a Project that is missing from a normal search has gone.
Double-Click
- You can double-click on a Project in the found Search results to add that Project to the list of current Projects to take out.
Options
- Drag down the resize handle in the bottom right-hand corner of the window to see more projects in the Search window.
- Resize the column widths by dragging the border column resize icons.
- Sort the Search columns by clicking on the column headers.
