Publish mode is used to send your screen to the server so that others can then view those images. To begin Publish choose Publish my Screen… from the ScreenHaven pop-out under the Window menu (or type Command-P, control-P for Windows & Linux).
Allowed Subscribers
You can choose an individual User, a Group or both. Only members of your Groups show up in the lists. If you choose a User or Group member, access to your screens is automatically given to every one in the list below. You can turn off access to any individual by unchecking their checkbox in the Allow column.
Note: you can turn off access to a User after the screen sharing has begun, but if they have already subscribed they will be able to view the screens sent so far. If they have not yet Subscribed they will not be able to view any screens.
You are now ready to begin sharing your screen. Click the Start button. The Publish window will move to the right-hand side of the screen and open the Comments panel. Users logged in as the user name Demo are warned that their screens may be viewable by other users logged in as Demo.
Options
- Click the All Off and All On buttons to set the Allow privileges to off or on for every listed member.
- The list of members refreshes itself about every ten seconds. This allows you to see who has viewed the current screens at some time. To reset the list of Current Viewers to see who is currently connected you can either uncheck their Viewers checkbox or right-click the list and choose Refresh Current Viewers.
